Version v2.0
Private Practitioner Validation Access - 1.0.0-private-validation
SPPS uses practitioner-supervised AI and transparent algorithms for drafting and evidence review. Qualified practitioners remain responsible for interpretation, formulation, intervention approval, referral, communication, and high-impact decisions.
SPPS AI helps organize authorized records, draft professional material, identify missing information, and suggest questions for review. It does not replace practitioner judgment or the athlete's individual context.
AI-assisted output begins as a draft. Practitioners can accept, edit, reject, request more information, or archive it. Generation never automatically finalizes a case, approves or shares a report, assigns an intervention, or marks an export safe.
Where supported, outputs show source domains, record counts, dates, missing or stale information, contradictions, limitations, and data confidence. Data confidence describes completeness, recency, and consistency, not certainty about an athlete.
SPPS AI must not independently diagnose, decide suicide or self-harm risk, perform emergency triage, provide medical or return-to-sport clearance, select athletes, terminate treatment, or communicate serious findings without practitioner review.
Provider, model, fallback, algorithm, prompt, safety-policy version, and feature maturity are recorded as technical metadata. Full prompts and raw generated output are not stored in technical usage logs. Access remains role- and relationship-limited.
AI features are labelled Stable, Validation, Beta, or Research. These labels describe product maturity and evaluation status; they do not claim clinical validation or effectiveness.
- AI is assistive only and returns practitioner-review-required drafts; automated scoring may calculate totals and bands, but interpretation remains subject to practitioner review.
- AI-generated summaries must be reviewed, edited, and approved before use in reports, athlete feedback, or multidisciplinary communication.
- AI outputs must be checked for bias, cultural fit, language accuracy, sport relevance, and overinterpretation.
- AI must not independently diagnose mental illness, determine risk status, clear return-to-play, or make selection decisions.
- Users should be informed when automated scoring or AI-assisted drafting is used in their record or report.
- Practitioners must be able to override, correct, or reject automated outputs.
Emergency limitation: SPPS is not an emergency service. Immediate risk of self-harm, harm to others, abuse, exploitation, severe psychological crisis, acute medical condition, concussion red flags, or unsafe environment requires immediate local emergency, safeguarding, guardian, team medical, or licensed professional escalation outside SPPS.
